Summary of evidence and Expert Committee recommendations
Following the review of the age-appropriateness of formulations on the EMLc, the Expert Committee recommended: - the addition of propranolol 10 mg tablets to the EMLc for migraine prophylaxis in children; - the deletion of propranolol 20 mg tablets from the EML and EMLc as this strength formulation is not widely available. Following the Expert Committee's decision not to recommend the addition of bisoprolol to the EML as a therapeutic alternative to propranolol, the square box is removed from the listing for propranolol on the EML.
