Following the review of the age-appropriateness of formulations on the EMLc, the Expert Committee recommended:
- the addition of artesunate powder for injection 30 mg, 60 mg and 120 mg on the EML and EMLc;
- the deletion of the previously listed injection formulation of artesunate from the EML and EMLc;
- the deletion of 50 mg and 200 mg artesunate rectal capsules from the EML and EMLc;
- the deletion of 50 mg artesunate tablets from the EML and EMLc.
- the removal of footnotes regarding follow-up care and combination use.
