Following the review of the age-appropriateness of formulations on the EMLc, the Expert Committee recommended: - the addition of two new strengths of tablets (60mg + 480 mg and 80 mg + 840 mg) on the EML and EMLc; - the addition of two new strengths of dispersible tablets (20 mg + 160 mg and 40 mg + 320 mg) on the EMLc; - removal of the weight restriction, in recognition that use should be in line with recommendations with WHO guidelines; - to update the listing to include reference to the phosphate salt of piperaquine in the formulation description instead of the medicine name.
