Following the review of the age appropriateness of formulations on the EMLc, the Expert Committee recommended:
- the addition of a co-packaged formulation of artesunate and sulfadoxine + pyrimethamine on the EML and EMLc, noting that this presentation would replace the separate listings of artesunate 50 mg tablets and sulfadoxine + pyrimethamine 500 mg + 25 mg tablets, which are recommended for deletion.
