Summary of evidence and Expert Committee recommendations
Following a review of medicines for palliative care by the Expert Committee in 2013, midazolam was added to the EML for use in the management of anxiety, agitation and delerium in patients receiving palliative care. Additional oral dose forms were added to the EMLc.
