As part of the recommendation to include misoprostol 200 mcg oral tablets on the EML for the prevention of post-partum haemhorrage, the Expert Committee recommended moving misoprostol from the complementary to the core list, and the addition of a note for the 25 microgram vaginal tablet stating "Only for use for induction of labour where appropriate facilities are available".
