General description
  Epinephrine (adrenaline) is an adrenal hormone with sympathomimetic activity.  It has multiple therapeutic uses including management of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), and management of life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest, severe asthma and in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
